FRIENDS OF BELLEVIEW LIBRARY IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION MADE UP OF PASSIONATE, COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS. OUR BOOK STORE OPERATES AT ‘THE BOOK NOOK’ (THE ORIGINAL BELLEVIEW LIBRARY BUILDING) WITH PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF OUR BOOKS APPLIED TO EVENTS AND PROGRAMS AT THE BELLEVIEW PUBLIC LIBRARY. WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN ON FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS FROM 10 AM TO 2 PM EACH WEEK. IN ADDITION TO HOUSING OUR 25,000 PLUS NEW, NEAR NEW, GENTLY USED PUZZLES, BOOKS, DVDS AND CDS . WE ALSO PRESENT A HISTORY MUSEUM OF BELLEVIEW IN OUR 100+ YEAR OLD BUILDING.
(The Belleview Library building still stands today as the second oldest library building in the state of Florida. This library was originally opened in 1886 as a Reading Room by the Library Association of Belleview. The original structure fell victim to fire in 1904 and was rebuilt in the same location in 1908).

CASH OR CHECK ONLY! NO CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS!
We happily accept only clean, gently used or new books as donations. We do not accept VHS tapes, Cassette Tapes, National Geographic Magazines, Encyclopedias, or hardback/softback books that have been wet, torn or marked through. Feel free to drop off items at The Book Nook on Friday or Saturday – when we are open; or use our book drop located outside of the building.
PLEASE DO NOT leave bags or boxes of books on the steps or in front of the book drop. Thank you!
